The Loire Valley has won a solid reputation for white wines. The Chenin Blanc is certainly emblematic of how far you can go with a varietal from bone dry to the late harvested wine golden sweet. Sauvignon Blanc is the other star of the white wines of the Loire Valley. Many appellations produce white wines with a large panel of tastes. We will explore during this white wine day tour a large panel of white wines. We will not visit the Sancerre region, and its appellation because of the distances. Remember, the Loire is about 800 kilometers long. But I will bring over a very good Sancerre to entice you to book next time our special Sancerre tour.
We can pick you up at your local hôtel around the city of Tours (check for allowed distances) or at the TGV train station: Vendôme- Villiers ( TGV station of the city of Vendôme) if you arrive from Paris.
